This could be considered a self portrait of sorts. Having been raised in South Dakota, the prairie remains a place where I can find peace and solitude. Its vastness is soothing and gives me the much needed break I often need from living and working among the growing, claustrophobic populous of the Denver area. This particular prairie is high plains prairie just outside Aurora. My next project is to go out to the prairie in pursuit of rabbits. This piece needs a rabbit!
