These poppies were photographed along the banks of Boulder Creek. Backlit by the sun, the petals became transparent allowing one to see the black seeds inside the flowers. Their beauty was accompanied by the soothing sounds of the water running down the mountainside. This was nothing short of medicinal magic. If I could have captured the entire experience and put it in a bottle, I’ve no doubt I could have cured many an ailment for many people.
